The idea of a "favourite colour" used to be normal to me.
"Blue," was the simple answer.
But as time went on, I began to realise how misleading it can be to even choose one in the first place, and for me, it lead to the [deranking] of my long-time[check if hyphen needed] favourite colour over a birthday card.

Let me explain. If you ever had the oppurtunity to prepare for an occasion, what might you choose to do? No matter the agenda, there's almost always one central bank of good-luck's and congrat's and perhaps even farewell's included in the mix. A package of

...if one were to even have a favourite colour at all, it should be something truly universal to the individual. A colour that suits all needs, and works with every aesthetic situation.
